【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiessafetyrequirements,andtheirverification,forthedesignandconstructionofwedgesplitters,designedtobeusedbyoneoperatorforsplittingwood,irrespectiveofthenatureofthepowersourceused.Onadualpurposecircularsawforafirewood/logsplittingmachineonlythelogsplitterpartofthemachineiscoveredbythisstandard.ForcircularsawsforfirewoodseeprEN1870-6:1997.Thisstandarddescribesmethodsfortheeliminationorreductionofrisksarisingfromtheiruse.Inaddition,itspecifiesthetypeofinformationonsafeworkingpracticestobeprovidedbythemanufacturer.ThelistofsignificanthazardsdealtwithisgiveninAnnexA.AnnexAalsoindicatesthehazardswhichhavenotbeendealtwith.ThisEuropeanStandardappliesprimarilytomachineswhicharemanufacturedafterthedateofissueofthestandard.
