【摘要】:ThispartofISO1996definesthebasicquantitiestobeusedforthedescriptionofnoiseincommunityenvironmentsanddescribesbasicassessmentprocedures.Italsospecifiesmethodstoassessenvironmentalnoiseandgivesguidanceonpredictingthepotentialannoyanceresponseofacommunitytolong-termexposurefromvarioustypesofenvironmentalnoises.Thesoundsourcescanbeseparateorinvariouscombinations.Applicationofthemethodtopredictannoyanceresponseislimitedtoareaswherepeopleresideandtorelatedlong-termlanduses.Communityresponsetonoisecanvarydifferentlyamongsoundsourcesthatareobservedtohavethesameacousticlevels.ThispartofISO1996describesadjustmentsforsoundsthathavedifferentcharacteristics.Theterm“ratinglevel”isusedtodescribephysicalsoundpredictionsormeasurementstowhichoneormoreadjustmentshavebeenadded.Onthebasisoftheseratinglevels,thelong-termcommunityresponsecanbeestimated.Thesoundsareassessedeithersinglyorincombination,allowingforconsideration,whendeemednecessarybyresponsibleauthorities,ofthespecialcharacteristicsoftheirimpulsiveness,tonalityandlow-frequencycontent,andforthedifferentcharacteristicsofroadtrafficnoise,otherformsoftransportationnoise(suchasaircraftnoise)andindustrialnoise.ThispartofISO1996doesnotspecifylimitsforenvironmentalnoise.NOTE1Inacoustics,severaldifferentphysicalmeasuresdescribingsoundcanhavetheirlevelexpressedindecibels(e.g.soundpressure,maximumsoundpressure,equivalentcontinuoussoundpressure).Thelevelscorrespondingtothesephysicalmeasuresnormallywilldifferforthesamesound.Thisoftenleadstoconfusion.Therefore,itisnecessarytospecifytheunderlyingphysicalquantity(e.g.soundpressurelevel,maximumsoundpressurelevel,equivalentcontinuoussoundpressurelevel).NOTE2InthispartofISO1996,quantitiesareexpressedaslevelsindecibels.However,somecountriesvalidlyexpresstheunderlyingphysicalquantity,suchasmaximumsoundpressureinpascals,orsoundexposureinpascalsquaredseconds.NOTE3ISO1996-2dealswiththedeterminationofsoundpressurelevels.
