【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthethicknessofpaperandpaperboardexceptelectricalinsulatingpapers(seeTestMethodsD202).Becauseoftherelativelyhighpressure50kPa[7.3psi]usedinthistestmethod,itmaynotbesuitableformeasurementoftissueorothersoftorlowdensitymaterials,becausethestructuremaycollapse(decreaseinthickness)attheprescribedpressureof50kPa.ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinotherunitsshallberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother,withoutcombiningvaluesinanyway.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
